January Employee of the Month

A big congratulations to McKenzie Robinson as our January Employee of the Month at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation! Since joining our Dietary Department in September 2023, McKenzie has played a crucial role in the care of our residents. At Claymont Health, we seek to create a team culture that recognizes and values each member's contribution to our patients' care, be it in housekeeping, maintenance, dietary services, or caregiving.



A Dennison, Ohio, native and graduate of TUSC Central Catholic School in 2014, McKenzie has accumulated 10 years of experience in food service. Her passion for wanting to help others and making an impact in their lives made her transition into the healthcare industry later on. We couldn't be happier that she's brought her skills and compassion to Claymont Health. Appreciating the collaborative atmosphere at our skilled nursing facility, she notes, "Claymont is a great place to work, and I appreciate everyone."

McKenzie's commitment and compassionate approach to her job shines through, particularly in the delightful meals she crafts for our residents. Going beyond the call of duty, she ensures that our residents not only receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs but also savor flavors that evoke a sense of home. Whether it be with our short-term or long-term care residents at our skilled nursing facility, our Dietary Team is praised for providing only the best so our residents can continue living their lives to the fullest.

It's important that while residents are staying with us, we are giving them a great all-around experience. Our entire team, from the Activities Department to our Dietary Team, works together to provide enriching activities and personalized meals that allow our residents to simply enjoy life's moments.
